Decent service, quick setup

I switched to DirectSaveTelecom for their Fibre 300 package. The ordering process online was pretty straightforward, just checked my availability and picked a plan. Delivery of the router took about 3 days, and activation of the broadband itself was quick after that, maybe a day. Speeds have been solid, no real dropouts. I had one question about my billing, and customer support on the phone was helpful and sorted it out fast. They use the Openreach network, which gives me some peace of mind. Overall, a good experience and pretty much what I expected.

Reliable service again

This is my third time using DirectSaveTelecom, and they've been consistent. I upgraded from Fibre 35 to Fibre 100 this time. The switch was smooth, just like my previous orders. Speeds are what I expected, and service has been reliable. That's why I keep coming back.

So happy with Fibre 500!

I just got their Fibre 500 and it's amazing! The speeds are incredible, everything loads instantly. My old broadband was so slow, this is a huge upgrade. Definitely shopping here again when my contract is up. Will tell everyone to check them out!

Good value Fibre 65

I was looking for a new broadband provider and found DirectSaveTelecom. I signed up for their Fibre 65 plan. The introductory offer was really good, saved me a fair bit compared to my old provider. No setup fee was a plus too. Felt like I got decent speed for what I paid. Happy with the overall value.

Got the Fibre 65 bundle

So I needed new broadband and phone, right? Checked out DirectSaveTelecom and went for their Fibre 65 bundle. It was easy enough to sign up, the website wasn't confusing or anything. Got my router in a few days. Been using it for a couple weeks now, and it works fine. No issues with calls or internet, which is good. Felt pretty chill, no stress.

Is there usually a new customer discount? Don't want to sign up then find out I missed a better deal.

M Mark Lopez 1 month ago
Almost always! They do intro offers for new sign-ups. I got like 20% off for the first year when I joined.

Yeah, check their site directly. Most discounts are applied automatically for new customers, or at least they were for me. No special code needed.

Do these guys use Openreach or their own network? Curious about reliability vs BT or Sky.

E Elizabeth T. 3 days ago
They use Openreach, same as most of the big guys. So the infrastructure is basically the same as BT or Plusnet.

Yup, Openreach. That's why I went with them, figured it'd be just as solid connection-wise but cheaper.

Thinking of switching to Direct Save for fibre 300. How long does it actually take to get up and running once I sign up?

R Rachel Mitchell 1 month ago
Mine took about two weeks from signing up to getting the new router and everything connected. Pretty smooth overall.

W William Lopez 4 weeks ago
Yeah, I think mine was a bit quicker, maybe 10 days? They send you the router, then it's just a case of plugging it in on the activation date. Easy.

Thinking about the 900mbps full fibre. How does Direct Save stack up against like, Vodafone or EE for the faster speeds? Is it worth it?

O Olivia Harris 1 week ago
I had Vodafone before and switched to Direct Save's fastest plan. Honestly, the speed is comparable, but I'm paying way less. Definitely worth checking if you're on a budget.

Can't speak for EE, but Direct Save on full fibre is solid. No real difference in performance compared to what I've heard from friends on BT's fastest, but the price was better for me.
